I’ve peeped this all over Social Media, from Twitter to Reddit. These white liberals strongly oppose it as much as the Conservatives. They’re “Progressive” until reparations is mentioned, but they’ll scream about eliminating student debt, only because they primarily benefit from it.

Easy to post this but black people are not the majority in California, breh. The only reason it got as far as it has gotten is because of (liberal) white people.

Black Americans in California fought for that though. You can’t discredit them. If it weren’t for Descendants of Slaves putting pressure on those white people, reparations wouldn’t even be entertained in Cali right now.

If it were only up to white people (of both sides), the topic of reparations wouldn’t have gotten this far and wouldn’t even be discussed.

Mind you, this will likely be shot down in the courts, and the cacs know this. Same with Biden and the $10k student debt elimination. A part of me believes that it’s all for show and they don’t genuinely want it to happen.

I saw a bunch of comments yesterday talking about “I support investing more money into urban communities and development, not free checks. I don’t support this. They’re not going to spend it right.”


Can’t forget the “What about the Native Americans and immigrants that built up California?!” or the “California never even had slavery! The southern states should only be paying these people”.
