When I was single, the only money/ goods I'd accept was cab fare/ dates. I always had my own and my fam took good care of me. I've only accepted cash in hand from one man and he's the only man I'd let have that power over me.

That said, I told my niece that the way to gauge a man's interest is to 'make him' give you something he values. Not money, she's good on money. But whatever he values: time, attention, etc. The example I gave was of a nikka well known not to ever pay for shyt. bytches was damn near paying to fukk him. I 'made him' pay for my cabs and take me out ONCE. None of it cost more than $20, but I was trynna see where his head was at. The weird part was, we had been fukking for a while, but it wasn't until he paid for a few things that he wanted to wife me. I declined, but I always thought that was interesting.
