I used to brush first, but then my food tasted weird...plus it's better to brush after you eat. So sometimes I brush twice or after I eat. Also my morning breath isn't really a thing because I brush before bed.

A lot of my coworkers brush at work.

Brush after eating breakfast -- if you eat in the morning -- and at some point before you go to bed (don't eat or drink anything that isn't water after the night brush).

Shouldn't matter long as they brush. Not my teeth to be worried about.

It doesn’t taste weird because you rinse your mouth out after you brush. Even if it did taste “weird”. That’s better than a bacteria special mixed in with your breakfast.

I’m curious what you are eating for breakfast everyday that makes your mouth as dirty as it is when you wake up from a full night a bacteria manifesting on your gums.
We brush our teeth to not only clean our teeth but to protect it for the day. The fluoride takes a 20 mibs to set in....dentists even say to wait an hour after cleaning to eat, its for a reason. Eating immediately after brushing almost defeats the purpose of toothoadtes protecting features.

Plus why is your mouth filthy after 7 hrs if inactivity :picard:

Before im slandered my teeth are A1:banderas:. I just turned 30 and ive never had cavities, never needed dental work, my wisdom teeth came in like they was one of the crew:banderas:. My pearl whites complement my midnight skin:banderas:My dentist calls me easy money and we chop it up and clown patients the entire visit:banderas:i crip walk into the office:umad:

Lol, What? I brush three times a day. Before gym, after breakfast, and at night. If you brush your teeth at night(and hydrate), you'll notice the lack of smell in the morning. Growing up I had dental and orthodontal work. They told me it's best to brush after you eat.

... I think I'm going to listen to people who went to school for it, rather than random Twitter memes.

Also, mouthwash was designed to clean floors, so no. I'm good on that.
  1. Bacteria in your mouth can react with the food you eat by soaking up sugars and acid, which can cause cavities, tooth erosion, and tooth decay.
  2. Brushing right when you wake up starts your mouth back into its normal salivation process. It also brings fluoride into your mouth to protect against those sugars and acids.
  3. Brushing after breakfast can actually be harmful. If you ate something acidic for breakfast, it makes your teeth more easily susceptible to tooth abrasion and sensitivity.
Pretty much killing your mouth by waiting until after by feeding bacteria that grew overnight even if you brush before bed.

Why are you complaining about starting a discussion on a discussion forum?
