Black music will always belong to black people, because we just do it better. But, if there's a white artist that is decent at making black music, the labels will always give them more of a push because they're easier to market to white america because white america is predominantly racist and only want to see themselves getting any shine. Sad reality.

I agree. But I've always wondered why blacks gave up on rock music so easily. Black music hasn't really evolved over the last 15-20 years imo.
