mean some people blatantly stated in the video that jesus was white and if they felt like that wasn't the correct depiction of jesus they would have stated so :manny:

I've only watched the first video and only 1 person said God is white, anyway they obviously didn't go out there with 'let's see if people people point out that jesus wasn't a northern european man' in mind, they wanted to see how many people think jesus is more important in their lives than Malcolm and Garvey so they could make some kind of point about white people brainwashing blacks to worship a white person, but this little test doesn't prove that. He should have swapped white Jesus with a black Jesus every 3 minutes or every other person and if he noticed that people always chose Garvey or Malcolm when black jesus while white jesus was picked every time he was up there then maybe he would have made some kind of point.

Attacking Jesus is not going to help you counter white supremacy
Where in this thread have I condemned their beliefs ... I'm just saying that you can't expect to dismantle white supremacy if most black peoples perception of a higher being is a cac

he should have also printed out a picture of a black jesus and used it instead of a white jesus every now and then if he actually wanted to make a point, but instead he just uses white jesus so he can go on about white supremacy brainwashing black people to worship a white jesus or something like that. Is this that same guy that was screaming and getting all emotional when he was debating some black muslim?
He used that picture because its the universal picture of jesus

its heartbreaking how Christianity brainwashed the vast majority of our black folks

wake up everyday and pray to a white jesus brehs

think getting on your knees and talking to the sky is going to end white supremacy brehs

:mjlol:the irony in them praying to white jesus about it too

religion will always and forever be a tool to keep the masses docile

especially BLACKS

:camby:
prayin to "jesus" aint gon bring my dead homies back

and its not gon wish all my problems away

and he aint comin to save yo ass from "armageddon" "the rapture" whatever the fukk else these fairy tales be talkin bout:laff:

Besides the cognitive aspect, Christianity is also holdin black people back on a structural level. We spend an incredible amount of money, ressources, and time on church related endeavors that could very well go into stuff that is more tangible and beneficial for the community.

Bullshyt, I bet we spend a lot more money, resources, and time on other shyt that ain't tangible or beneficial to the community. Don't sit here and front like nikkas is going to church like that nowadays.

My nikka, some of these mega churches are damn near empires. And regardless of the size of the church, usually churches are like small communities. The regulars become like family and everyone comes out they own pocket to keep the church standing and support its endeavors.

A lot of ppl that aint rich at all donate regularly to their respective church(in terms of money, and time). But for what rly? Now im not saying that churches and christianity dont do good for ppl in certain aspects(in fact ive seen them change lives), but for the most part the answers and solutions they provide are insubstantial and rooted in the supernatural, rather than practical and based in reality.

If some of these churches stood as community centres with a focus geared on helping out the youth instead for example wed already have a leg up.
