Great video. Thanks for sharing dap + rep vibes

I was just having a convo with one of my side pieces .. I said "can you think of one black actor who didn't take on a demeaning or degrading role to make it big in hollywood." We struggled trying to think of at least 3. Denzel is the only one.
If you think of every successful black hollywood star... they had to do some degrading shyt on camera first before making it.
Look at John Boyega... having to play a space slave. Is success worth it at that cost?
shyt is sad.

his first Oscar was for portraying a USCT soldier in GloryThe thing about that is he had to play a villian to even get an Oscar which strengthened his starpower in Hollywood, same with Halle basically having to do bedwench porn to get hers. Both of those are demeaning for different reasons. So while he has never stooped as low as self-emasculation for clout, he has had to play a black man in a negative light for cacs to get these cacs pussies moist by pushing subliminal anti-black male rhetoric.

thats great and all if theres enough roles to go around
Dudes love equating Hollywood with ACTUAL every-man success. You'd be better off studying harder in school. One actor doing a bunch of movies doesn't help most black people. Its important representation, but Denzel didn't have to do Tyler Perry movies to come up.
You can argue Tyler did more for black actors who needed work with dignity.
IDK why we're lionizing entertainers for doing the bare minimum.
nobody said a word about tyler perry, weirdo.
