Well it doesn't help that funding for public and preventative health in this country, are collectively a joke.

I don't see how America survives if a more deadly strain of a virus hits, because collectively, the very selfish and entitled mindset of Americans, would rather save a few dollars short term, instead of investing into more concrete measures that ensure a more stable and endemic society.

I really hope the outcome of this event generates more funding into public health. It likely won't though.

Dumbass Republicans believe in small government. Government institutions are vital to helping curb outbreaks and it’s pretty much their fault. It could’ve easily been contained. They have blood on they hands.

In early Jan, I was watching the Netflix doc Pandemic. shyt was eerie. I had the flu for the first time and it was really bad. I got viral pneumonia but luckily I was treated and was able to recover. shyt made me stock up Lysol, hygiene products, and dried foods. Around that time I was abroad and seen beacoup people with masks and gloves like it was some kind of outbreak. Can’t say I’m surprised it came this crazy.
