If it's any consolation, people in Europe are just as stupid. After president Macron and PM Philippe spoke to the nation, as well as a myriad of doctors urging french people to stay at home there were tons of people in the parks yesterday just kicking it (officials not cancelling local elections didn't help with the message, truth be told). In Belgium some idiots organized "clandestine parties" after all bars and clubs were locked down. And some took their cars and went to have drinks in the Netherlands where bars seemingly were not yet shut down as of saturday.
