This Warriors streak doesn't feel as big as the Heat streak from a couple years back

Premise of the thread is a fallacy. ..people do this a lot, state some non fact in such a way that people argue against in a way it that ultimately reinforces a false foundation

In reality this is by far the biggest story in the nba, only briefly rivaled by the announcement of an all time great's retirement that everyone already knew was coming, and is dominating sports coverage...I had plans on being at at that game tonight but ticket prices got purged to ridiculous levels...espn had staff there for a random regular season game that they weren't airing like it was a game 7 playoff game

If they actually pass the heats single season mark and approach the lakers...and eventually the Bulls 72...it's gonna feel plenty "big"

Here's a terrible post.

In all seriousness, people ARE excited about this team. The BAY is crazy for them, especially. And it IS getting a lot of coverage. I don't actually know what this thread is talking about.

The heat streak picked up a lot of energy because they struggled initially... and it felt like they were becoming this voltron that we all expected them to be.

Most people came into this season knowing the Warriors would dominate... and they are. There is an inevitability there for the average fan, I think.
What's the terrible part lil' breh?

Warriors streak is a bigger story because they can beat a streak that looked untouchable, and at this point Stephen Curry is having the best season ever by most measures.

Edit: Not to mention they have the best chance we have seen to win over 72 games.
