LeBron showed up for the Cavs, it's why they won 2 games. Where was Steph Curry? Where was Klay Thompson? You're talking about an injury to a guy who played 15 min a game. The greatest shooter and one of the greatest offensive teams had 2 home games to close the deal. And in the second home game didn't score a point in the last 5minutes. fukk outta here.
Their DPOY didn't play in Game 5, another one of their prized bench players and last years Finals MVP had back problems, and their starting center went down, and forced their back up center who only started 13 games all year to start in Game7 of the Finals. If you're gonna play the excuse game all year, play it Both ways.

I'm referring to the his "misses rimmed out". I believe 2 of the 3's he missed in the 4th didn't even hit the rim. He was awful.

Even that shot he missed after dancing with Love almost went in, I saw one air ball that was bad in that game and he missed a wide open 3 in the 4th. I just don't agree with you saying he shot terribly that game. You live and die by the 3

See, this is that bullcrap right here.

Cause I bet I will see you in another thread using some hyperbolic adjectives to describe Brons talent

You Bron stanleys are the worst because you want it one way, when it fits your agenda.

When he's winning, he's apocalypse, he's alfa and omega, but when he loses " aww he needs more help"

And unfortunately Bron only has himself to blame for The Criticism he receives

I'm sorry you nickname yourself " the chosen one" and " the king" you're setting the bar pretty high

You say " I'll never leave cleveland and deliver a championship" then yoh bolt when things aren't going your way

You goto Miami and say we are going to win 7 championships and in the end you only win 2

And delusional Bronley stans will pout when folks are dumping on him, justifiably, then when he does win, you'll say " see, told you"

Curry hasn't said he'll never leave Golden State

Curry hasn't promised the city 8 championships

Curry hasn't given himself these prestigious nicknames

The only reason you all dislike the dude is because your weak minded and you let the media tell it.

I'm a Curry stan and I think he's a fantastic player; but even I'm like
:whoa: With the hyperbolic media statements. This will be a lesson for him and the Warriors, the team will probably be shredded by the media this offseason. Hopefully they tune out as much as possible and rebound next year

Because that never, ever, ever happens in the other direction right? :comeon:

Just look at your post...you blaming this nikka for the meaning of his name and a name the media gave to him. If he deserves all that heat how does he not deserve all the hyperbole now?

If LeBron had a 3-1 lead with 2 closeout games at home, nobody would be excusing him for having a 15 minute a game role player hurt in the final 2.5 games. If LeBron had a 3rd option at a home game that got 32, 15, 9 and went 6/7 from 3 point and still lost, nobody would be excusing him for not having a 15 min a game role player. If it's the last 5 minutes of a game 7 AT HOME with a tied game and LeBron had the 2nd best shooter in the league on his team and a player that just went 6/6 on 3 pointers in the first half of said game and he couldn't get his team to score a SINGLE point, nobody would be excusing him because he didn't have a 15 min a game role player. If all this happened to LeBron he would be getting CRUCIFIED by everyone. There would be ZERO excuses made for him.

Assuming he gets back to the mountain top again. Basically every great besides Jordan had at least one clunker Finals performance.

I know it's fun to clown and have the hyperbole on DEFCON5 levels, but if Curry leads the Warriors to another title or two down the line, this will be glossed over in the history books.

He only has 2-3 years though, because the Lakers are gonna be back on top sooner than later.
nah its not curry is not a good all around player he's just a good scorer
he doesnt get assists, he doesnt play defense, he doesnt have ball iq, no rebounds nothing else
once the 3's stop hitting dude is a bench player

I don't remember off top the media giving him any of his names. I think he called himself that, even got that " chosen one tatted on his back" :banderas:

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the praise, he's a good player. I'm talking to his fans that want to elevate him above his team, but then when things don't go right, blame everyone else. ( which they do)

And I'm not even aggy that Lebron does the " king" nickname or the " chosen one" he wanted the target and he's not making excuses ( his fans are and that's what I'm addressing)

Again for me personally I've never elevated steph above the team, he's an important cog; but for me it's a team thing

So for Lebron fans, is he the alpha omega? Or do they need to dial it back and just say he's an important piece to the teams on?

Because in this series Kyrie was pretty lights out, Clevelands bigs played well too.

Anywho, I feel I'm getting really off track here, ha ha

Now how many 16 year olds do you know that wouldn't buy into that hype? Plenty of nikkas that ain't done shyt got outrageous tatts and nicknames.

On the other side folks stay wanting to elevate his teammates when shyt goes well and then throw all the blame on him when it doesn't. And that is way more widespread.

Bron ain't the first or last to have his greatness exaggerated. People seem to only have an issue with this when it's someone they don't like. You may not have done so, but Steph was most certainly elevated over the last two years. I respect you saying you were all about team but spending and entire post putting all the blame on a individual kinda flies in the face of that.

It's gonna seem like we're taking away from everyone's feel good, but they lost two of their starters in Game5, a game in which they could've closed Cleveland out if they had even one of them on the court. With no Bogut, all of a sudden Tristan becomes a rebound monster again, and LBJ and Kyrie go to the hole at will. Also, it messes up Golden States rotation, now Ezili gets only his 13th start all season, in arguably the toughest game in his career.

:francis:
Yeah but it takes just as much luck as skill to win a title. The Warriors had 2 years of being injury free and it finally caught up with them with Steph being hurt Bogut getting injured and Igoudala's back stiffening up on him. It just happened to all occur in the playoffs and the last two issues during the Finals. There circumstances were no different than Cleveland playing without Love and Kyrie last year.

If Green wasn't suspended and bogut hurt Cavs would have lost. See how easy that was.:stopitslime:

Nah Warriors fans was saying Bogut was useless cause the "death lineup" was better and would still beat the Cavs

Now look at all the fans putting their foot in their mouths :russ:
