This was Curry's Mavs series.

Kerr's coaching was kind of suspect in this series also.
:patrice:

Game 7 and Anderson Varejao is getting meaningful minutes in the 2nd Half?
:jbhmm:

Switching PnR with Ezeli/Draymond on Lebron in the 4th
:jbhmm:

Not calling a timeout after Kyrie just nailed a fukking dagger and stunned everybody in the arena
:jbhmm:

Knowing that Steph is having problems getting free because of how physical CLE is defending him off the ball and continuing to run him off screens (he wasn't getting open) instead of having him keep the ball more within the offense
:jbhmm:

ALL in all, this series was pretty fukking trash from a competitive standpoint. Both teams L's were just blowouts where they looked overwhelmed or just fell a part in the end. Game 7 was the only good game in the series... shyt was marred with terrible shot selection, ISO ball and just careless shytty turnovers from both teams for most of the games.

It looked like the pressure got to Steph, and his way of combating it was to go for the homerun play... instead of mixing it up in the paint some. CLE defended him on the perimeter exceptionally well though, and Kerr/Curry kind of played right into CLE's hands. Anytime I saw, Iggy, Barnes or Draymond shooting a 3 with the shotclock winding down, I felt like that was a win for CLE. There were far too many possessions in this game and series where Steph wasn't a factor because of their offensive sets. Maybe they missed Bogut's illegal screens or something cause this dude was not getting open at all off the ball, and a lot of times when he did get the ball it would be with like 10 or less on the shot clock.

Just poor offense and game management really

uhh no...
Curry still averaged 23 5 and 4 on a bad knee.. (bad for his standards)
LeBron was historically bad for any standard.

LeBron-Choke.jpg
Bron put on a historic performance this series. But how soon they forget, and use revisionist histroy when they get caught up in the moment. LBJ was bad in that Finals.....

:scust:

Just as bad if not worse than Curry in these Finals....

this ain't getting glossed over nothing. The Patriots have won 4 Super Bowls but we STILL talk about 18-1 to this day and always will. This is even worse because 1. Warriors have one title so far so they gotta do more. 2. Steph had a terrible series. 3. They blew a 3-1 series lead. 4. Lost game 7 at home. 5. Was outplayed by not just LeBron but also Kyrie. 6. Kyrie hit the winner in his face. 7. He bricked the "answer". 8. THEY WERE 73-9!

I don't know.. maybe he needs to stop trying to be that dude... He doesn't have the mental toughness to lead a team.

We all know the reason Curry played like a lil bytch... is cause he got rejected like a lil bytch by Lebron

Dude can't respond in those situations with a dunk or block of his own.

If he aint got physical tools to assert dominance, and he doesn't have a leadership mentality... maybe he should fall back from all that extra shyt
All things considered... The Warriors have the potential to win multiple chips as a system team.

This was the one year Steph could have gotten one for himself.... with Iggy and Bogut dealing with Injuries, Barnes slumping, and Draymond getting suspended.

He failed... he's gotta go back to the draw board and have faith in his teammates and his coach.

I watched the regular season. I know the Warriors aint going anywhere. But they winning with that beautiful system:jawalrus:

Assuming he gets back to the mountain top again. Basically every great besides Jordan had at least one clunker Finals performance.

I know it's fun to clown and have the hyperbole on DEFCON5 levels, but if Curry leads the Warriors to another title or two down the line, this will be glossed over in the history books.

He only has 2-3 years though, because the Lakers are gonna be back on top sooner than later.
nah :mjlol:

Breh, what are you talking about? They 'system' team shyt didn't work. If anything, I would have much rather seen Steph have the ball MORE, instead of passing the ball early in the shot clock and never seeing it again, because he couldn't get free off of screens. The system guys got plenty of looks, and they fukking bricked em hard. Steph has to take the heat for this L because he let CLE off the hook by not putting pressure on them and playing too much within the 'system'. He's been dominate all year from everywhere on the floor, not just from 3. He just settled for the 3 WAY too much in this series, and he also wasn't assertive enough in terms of making sure he either assisted or took a good shot when his team needed a basket.

A lot of things had to go wrong for the warriors to lose this series.

It doesnt even feel like the cavs won, just feels like the warriors lost (if that makes any kind of sense)
Lol it feels that way because you're a sore loser. Cavs been the better team. Be happy Kyrie and Love got hurt last season so yall could get some shine, otherwise the Warriors are known as another great regular season team that falters in the playoffs.

It's ironic that you're bringing up the Cavs injuries last year but not saying shyt about Golden State losing Bogut and Draymond for a game this year.

I didn't realize it at first, but Bogut going down really hurt this team. We saw that clear as day tonight when Ezeli and Anderson were in the game :scust:

Dray missed 1 game. Bogut wasn't even playing much. Before Ezeli got hurt, Bogut was benched for him because Bogut was trash.
