A random Trail Blazers vs Suns ESPN Wednesday game isn't gonna move the needle as well. Baseball is a regional sport not everyone is gonna sit around and watch a fukking Tuesday night Orioles vs Rays game on ESPN2.
My question, whats going to happen if more and more people opt out of cable and satellite?

And the nba finals beat the world series in ratings. Nobody will watch this allbstar gm. Nationally, the NBA is more relevant imo

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
and? so the dodgers are deemed just as valuable to cable providers as the nba best franchise, yet baseball is dying. if mlb is dying, whats the nba doing?

The NBA is going for the Euro, Yuan, AUD and Reais

1 is quickly becoming a global game :blessed:

Every other major sport in the US is trying to do what the NBA is doing, globalizing.

It ia crazy how the Dodgers got a 8bil deal and the Lakers got 3bil. Im assuming cuz the Dodgers play damn near dbl the games. But when Directv didnt air Lakers gms, I thought people would riot. People were legit pissed. I havent met 1 person in real life bring up the Dodgers not being on tv. Maybe 1 latino dude, but other than that, nobody seems to care. Directv feels zero pressure to get that deal done.

Trust me people are burnt about the lack of a TV deal but it's nice to listen to games on the radio again baseball the most friendly radio sport. Charley Steiner doing PBP though :snoop:

MLB hate makes no fukking sense just because ESPN doesn't prop it up every 5 seconds they treat MLB as dead. These the same fukks that sit at home Monday/Friday and get their sports fix from know nothing trolls like :comeon: and :skip: who will sit around in June and discuss Tony Romo's new pedicure and how it will hinder the Cowboys for 2014 fukk outta here.

LOL I just showed the ratings of the two allstar games

By contrast, Fox Sports Detroit provided data Monday that shows it is averaging a 7.35 rating for its first 64 Detroit Tigers game broadcasts this season.

The Tigers’ 10-4 drubbing of the Cleveland Indians on Sunday averaged an 8.15 rating locally, FSD’s data shows.

The regional sports network, which is amid a 10-year, $500 million deal for Tigers local broadcast rights, has topped all of Major League Baseball in local TV ratings the past couple of seasons.

Each local ratings point represents 18,564 households in the Detroit market.

so basically 140,000 people, IN market, are watching tigers baseball every game. And there are 162 games. And more people are watching nationally on espn. But baseball is dying.
