I don’t think casual hip hop fans know how to process her image or distance it from the music (w/ the huge success of nicki...cardi and meg inevitably...we see what a large portion of rap fans expect from female acts)...it took me a while to overlook her image as well and just focus on the music...I had a hard time believing grown ass men was following behind a dyke but it is what it is...when game spit on the ‘ooouuu’ beat he killed it...listened to the song so much that I fell in love w/ the beat...it made me go back and give her song a second listen...been fukking w/ her music ever since

Thread goes from vaguely racist Fuk NY reduced all the way down to throwing shady stereotypes and code switching. But in the next thread, their loudest ones talking about unification, codification and historical analysis.
Past few days I have seen supposedly pro-blacks link up with bussy bedwenches exposed for liking cac butt play - (no one says shyt); a kingpin snitch watchlist (from non-affiliates), supposedly black men/women defending a white woman harassing a black mother and her child; 2 faux mili-fags exposing their exposals; and about 20 trans/gay threads. But as soon as NY is mentioned in a thread; that's the catalyst for posters' wrath and vengeance lol..this proves how far removed real life is from internet shyt and who actually has been around to do or see shyt. The more people say, the less that I need to comment. This is why I observe more, participate less and reserve my more relevant/ impactful discussions for The Film Room and private offline.. damn shame that fiction is more discussion worthy and respectful than real current events. TLR is more drama-related than TFR, the irony.
