Lose Control caught my ear at a bar and Shazammed it. Fell into a rabbit hole listening to his covers. Seems very respectful of soul and r&b, and the history. He should have next, whatever it means in this context.
Word. My girl put me on to him.
He's singing about one girl - and it shows how powerful that is compared to rappers or Twitter users calling girls "pump and dumps". Just like stand by me is about one girl. Focused music like that becomes classic.
