What is the nature of her job? Does she deal with customers/clients on a day-to-day basis? If so, then a dress code is important. She needs to be professional.

But if it's a job where she just sits in a cubicle all day typing on her computer then I don't see the big deal.

All of the black women at both of my jobs only wear head wraps when they aren't wearing weave. Its definitely not professional...
