Young Thug is not a traditional rapper. You're judging him by the wrong standard.

He's doing something different and pushing the culture forward. You could also say those dudes in the BET cypher will implode if they try to do what he does.

It's not that he's not good, I can tolerate a Nelly-level rapper skills wise even in 2015, it's that his lyrics are actually just retarded, and he's openly moist, and he's a piece of shyt, like there's nothing redeeming about this dude besides his so-called gibberish flows and melodies. And even so, of the tens of songs of his I've heard, only a handful seem to have any kind of redeeming, respectable, lasting quality. Everything about dude just screams fraudulent, god-awful and, like I say, simply retarded.
