He did that before? I remember a while back he stole the name of another couple called Couples React before he changed the name to D and B Nation. This was when they had way less subscribers.

So when you looked up Couples React both channels would pop up in the search, eventually the other couple had to change their name.

I remember a while back them lying about their car being stolen and lying about being robbed. I didn't even know he was trying to ride off Chris Smoove's success in the past. That dude always seemed shady to me.

Chris Smoove? Yeah, he's one of the most popular black youtubers.

I used to watch back in the day when he mostly playing COD and making it splash. Dude was known for his entertaining gameplay and catchphrases "Chris Smoove is waiting on a noob." "Shot clock cheese" "How did he not see me?" etc. I stop keeping up with him when all the NBA videos started but that dude was hilarious.

Edit: He's got over 3 million subs now, I believe when I watched years back he had like 300k. A growth like that(pause) feels more natural, as he was growing at a time when youtube wasn't as big as it is now. Dude has been making videos since 2008.

i agree with those of you saying it doesn't take much talent to do reaction videos. but that's actually a good thing. it means that as long as you upload consistently anyone can blow up on youtube.

and of course you gotta use clickbait titles and thumbnails. its not like people are paying to watch your vids. so do whatever it takes to get more views

It seems like most of their videos or "pranks" is stuff that other people have done before. On Youtube you can rip off an idea and get the same amount of success. And it looks like they practice rehearsing a lot of their videos (from the 1 that I saw admittedly). Other than that...

Reaction channels get a ton of views meanwhile nikkas do skits,acting and they can barely get that much what a shame

You ever notice how damn near all of these youtube celebs are white? The ones making beaucoup bucks...


Meanwhile black folks can barely get thousands of views together.

Can you tell me the appeal of watching someone else react to a video? I never quite understood it. The only reaction that matters is my own. Watching someone react exactly like me, or more over the top because they're being filmed, doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.

You gotta watch the good ones who provide enlightening commentary or actually make everything more funny or enjoyable. For example I fukk with Beyond The Trailer, although that's more than just a reaction channel, and Ecomog Media Group who are straight comedy

Yeah I know about them. It's crazy how fast reaction and vlog channels are growing. People have been doing reaction channels for a long time on YouTube, but they started dying out when YouTube took down the "video response" feature because people would upload 3 second videos with a thumbnail of a chick with big titties and reply to videos with a lot of views, and get a lot of views for nothing.

They need to work on that arguing problem they have though, too dysfunctional.

PS Tyrone Magnus been doing reaction videos and they already past him. Seems like couples get more views and a more positive response.

I've been following him since the 30 k days he's doing well for himself and has been travelling alot lately meeting other reactors. He was able to quit his job too and is hitting 1 mill by the end of the year probably.
