We could sign CP3, we just couldn't give him the max. Hell I dont think we could even offer him very much AT ALL. Even with Dwight gone Im pretty sure we are over the cap.
Kobe is due 30 mill THIS YEAR.
Pau 20 mill THIS YEAR.
and thats just 2 players.
Only reason we could afford Howard is because we have his bird rights.
Also, I don't think we can do a sign and trade because we are over the cap and in the new cba, teams over the cap cant do sign and trades.
That my friend, is why we are likely fukkED until summer 2014.
Edit: Not quite sure on the sign and trade shyt. Some one correct me if I'm wrong. But I think we could sign and trade howard,to a team under the cap, but can't accept a sign and trade back?

Getting Thompson or Barnes would be great for Dwight.

Robinson showed potential. I thought he was a Tyrus Thomas clone but he seemed to show more skill. He's just raw but not extremely raw. Teams just really don't like to develop talent anymore.
And to think the Kings drafted him over Drummond because of their one on one games
