What's up.
So here's the deal, I just found out that I have enough point on my CC rewards and they are offering an Apple Watch sport that I can cop.
I'm debating on getting it because
a- its basically free
and
b-I love messing with new tech.

But I want to know what you guys think about it and if its worth it.
First off I am a watch wearer/collector, I have over 15 watches of all variations ranging from G-Shocks to Omegas to my daily...A seiko 5

I love watches, so not wearing it isn't a problem. WHich I have seen from a lot of ppl.

Those that have had it for a while what are your thoughts? still use all the shyt on it?
still hyped about it?

or is it more of a novelty that rare gets used other than to DO stuff because you feel you have to rather than because its more convenient(such as replying to a text rather than just breaking out your phone.)

pretty much been wearing mine since it dropped. i will say that its a fun toy, but i can't say that its actually worth the money. MAYBE for the sport edition, but i ended up paying around $1K for the Milanese Loop.

if you are a tech fan, and its going to be "free" then i would give it a shot. worst case, you can sell it and not take too much of a hit.

as far as you loving watches, i say be careful. i have a good amount of nice watches and i can count on one hand that times i've worn anything else besides this watch since it came out.

some things that a pretty convenient -
maps while driving (taptic feedback when its time to make a turn)
movie tickets (fandango)
zipcar
NexStop
Calendar
Plane Tickets
Texting (Conditions have to be perfect though. like if you definitely cant get to your phone, but you're in a place with relatively low ambient noise)

I guess I'm gonna have to look at the apps to see if it is really wworth it.
Just saw the video on watch OS2, could be the game changer for me.
After I was looking at it ...wifey was saying she wants one to.

might have to cop the free one to check it out.

what size is yours? 38 or 42?
and is the size difference alot?

I dont think I'd want the 38 I have somethinner watches and some really large ones(my Ballast is huge)

I got the 42. Smoove hit it on the head. It's not a must have but it isn't a waste of money either. Convenient for checking texts and quick replies. I've also used it for Apple pay which is cool. Running and bike riding is cool since you can glance at your wrist as opposed to reaching for your phone.

I'm satisfied with mine.

I had an Apple Watch for two weeks before I sold it. Wasn't worth having. Ultimately it's redundant.
