I’m trying to gain weight/muscle

I have a lanky skinny body so even when I’m overweight I don’t look large but the problem is the place my fat goes to is strictly my belly. At least some dudes gain weight and it goes to areas like arms or shoulders so it can look like you workout even if you don’t lol

I started working out in February just to try to gain some muscle but also I just want to look presentable

I’m someone who likes to eat tasty food and I’m 39 so at this point it’s not worth it to me to try to eat strictly healthy foods just to try to get some abs at this point in my life.

I try to have some discipline and not eat horribly because I don’t want a huge gut but I’m not gonna starve myself either just to get a 6 pack.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I don't have the genetics for it, but my day to day life means I usually fast for long periods of time so I can eat whatever I want and I don't gain weight. Sure, I've got it all under control, but at first I almost died...

Been fasting for 16-17 hours a day... the 7 hours that I do get to eat, I swallow everything I want and haven't gained weight since last august (when I initially incorporated the fastage).

I've slimmed down quite a bit with energy that goes on for days.

If I change my diet, I could lose a substantial amount of weight.

Stagnancy works for people with my personality so i'm happy.

Now if I can get this voice changer device to work.

I've always had muscular body but a beer gut cause I ate so much sweets. To the point I would get laughed at in gym class cause everybody thought I was all cut up then I'd take my shirt off and had the gut. As I got older kept the muscle and looked like I worked out as I put on a bunch of weight. So barely any fat in my legs or arms or chest but a big ass gut. Even when going months without working out still would get compliments on my arms and chest.

You gotta pump those numbers up.

Work your way into a 5 day fast and your body will, physically and mentally, feel like it's in peak performance. The only problem is that you've got to develop acute awareness of your salt levels. Can't have too much nosalt or you'll feel sick, if you have too little your mouth will be dry and your body will feel awful as you can't hold in water.

Personally I can go through 2 workouts without feeling a need to eat. Although I do sleep a lot.
