She is in jail on 1 million bail.

But this is was just pure selfishness. She couldn't have dropped off the children with a relative or maybe reschedule where an adult could have watched them. It only takes 20 minutes of exposure to severe heat to kill a baby. She's lucky the other child did not die or have irreversible brain damage. But the justice system will likely be lenient on her because of her youth but she is likely losing custody of the surviving child.

My first thought off of thread title was "surely they would've let her bring her child inside.". Especially just get some lip fillers.

Completely avoidable situation.

Though the procedure itself reportedly lasted only 15 to 20 minutes, employees told police the spa was busy that day and Hernandez was away from her car for about two and a half hours. She reportedly never checked on her children during this time.

Wow that's a lot. She could've sat in the car with them while waiting, gone outside, etc. but sat inside the air conditioned lobby waiting alone.
