agree to disagree, i think dude writing is up there wit the greats, i actually like EOS better than any of his other tapes, and the songs he added to thr trilogy is perfect for them

When he said he was gay though, it basically polished a turd because people no longer just hear a wack album, they hear a gay black guy making an album thats cosigned by credible artists. It was demonic marketing. Thankfully the album was a dud.

personally, i found it lukewarm but there are a few songs that i actually love, particularly 'lost', 'sweet life', and most of all 'crack rock'. his song writing is impressive. it was a change of pace and i could appreciate that. i liked nostalgia, ULTRA more but his album was a solid project.

as for him coming out, i truly believe he did the right thing because it showed HIS true fan base. he could stick to writing other artists songs and no one would know or care. i think he wanted to be honest as an artist and get an honest response which is rare.

well if you don't know how the story goes, he was being asked questions at a listening party about the content of a few songs. i think it may have had more impact if he just let the music speak for itself but in this day and age, i can see how he wanted to make it clear that he's not speculating but rather sharing those experiences.
