When I first heard of Gibbs, he was described as a gritty street rapper in the same vein as DMX. But after reading this quality, well-informed post, I have to say that you've helped me see the light, ASAP Rocky really is the greatest, grittiest street rapper since DMX.

Pinata is arguably the best album of the decade so far. Mostly because of Madlib though.

Gibbs is better when he isn't doing that stupid ass mumble/slur flow like Meek Mill and a lot of these other new rappers. That messed Shadow of a Doubt to me.

i actually never listened to him until shadow of a doubt, i loved it but i heard the other albums weren't all that similar so I'm gonna check those out eventually.
