Thoughts on NF, white rapper?

First, let me say I've heard of NF for years since I follow Christian rap. Never paid attention to dude because he sounds too much like Eminem. At least the old Eminem not this current jumble words Em. I'm looking on Spotify and he's number 8 on their charts. I even saw one week he was top on the Billboard. I have no idea how he blew up.
13 million views? Some in the Christian rap scene even say he surpassed Lecrae. I don't get it.
