He has substance and is refreshing, no gimmicks either and unlike Eminem maturity in Cac emcees is welcomed. shyt, for once someone has some sense of character and not being a cariacture.

He does have a great grasp on rhythm, "Intro III" is proof of that and he's not rapping that fast either. "Let You Down" is basically Em if he wasn't trash on "Rexovery" for a whole album.

I hate his shyt before "Therapy Sessions" though, corny as fukk. Him and Lecrae are sick ass Christian rappers, - it's nice to have EMCEES who don't need cursing or heavy slang to be taken seriously. Also nikkas tripping as NF doesn't ONCE refer to his Whiteness in anyway. Maybe Em, Macklemore, etc. could learn a thing or two.
White people don't need to include race everytime they need to make deep topical songs, just be yourself and give a fukk.

FYI: yeah he's mostly for appealing to "Cross Cacs", but dude seems legitimate as an artist and keeps to himself. Michigan doesn't have a lot to go on this decade as far as WORTHWHILE rappers anyways.

Long story short, I'd rather have this guy instead of Em ATM. He has great flow, doesn't force rhyme schemes in every single song, changes his subject matter, good storytelling, etc.

Plus he know when you express certain emotions with the beat. Em just goes Rap Nazi and gets pissed off on probably even a damn beat you could play in a daycare center. He has ZERO relatability or conviction anymore, shyt's CRAZY. He fell the fukk off since Relapse and I honestly never felt the need to go back to listen to his projects since then. He can't go one album without being a hypocritical, overly concerned bytch about his daughter, white privilege, Jackass antics, being Norman Bates to women, and still hating his own mom.

I listened to a few tracks of his off the strength of some youtube reactors gassing him up but all his joints just sound the same...screaming flow & nearly every song that i heard of his has that beat drop....
