And obviously I'm proud of my heritage, but I will say a lot of my people are fukking idiots. Most people in the world are, regardless of their race. Stupidity and irrationality as human traits transcend racial barriers.
For what its worth, I come with utmost respect and admiration for Afro-Caribbean and African American culture. If I didn't think you all were cool like that, I wouldn't be coming to this site and I wouldn't be listening to hip-hop and dancehall music.

Good post. I grew up around and still live with a whole bunch of immigrants in Australia. Middle Easterners, North and East Africans mostly, also East Asians and obviously other South Asians. I like the diversity.

Wherever immigrants go, white people leave. White flight is just a euphemism, it's segregation in reality. And then they get all high and mighty about how "tolerant" these western, white societies are; and drop complaints about how immigrants "form ghettos" and "don't assimilate". Man please. We assimilate just fine, with each other. Why is it that I got friends from so many different backgrounds, and they treat me like I'm family, but I don't have any white friends? That's assimilation right there. shyt I got so many Pakistani friends, coming from a Indian background, our countries have been at war since we were created, and our cultures Islam and Hindu have been beefing for hundreds of years. But we're able to put that shyt aside. That's what assimilation is about, right?
But the white people just up and leave when immigrants come. They create the immigrant ghetto's by leaving the area once immigrants show up. If they stayed there and made an effort to mingle with immigrants, there wouldn't be any immigrant ghettos. They create the problem, and then put the blame on us.
You're obviously the exception. People like you are accepted. It's them fresh off the boat type of south Asians that everybody hates. from my experience Indians only care about people with money regardless of race ... Pakistanis and other South Asians seem cool ... they have their culture and I have mine no beef or hard feelings ever ... now if I'm wrong I'm wrong

We aren't? you must never have interacted with enough south asians. Humans are etternally at war and the winners are properous. The losers are in poverty or dead.
