Becuase the other 4 black-owned Financial institutions in Texas are Credit Unions, not Banks.

I don't want to rain on our parade, but is anyone skeptical about this shyt? Just because they are black, still doesn't mean they are exempt from corruption... And if this actually DOES work and expand, it will be on cacs radar and they will run it. Think about the incident back in the day when we had our own successful community and they bombed the shyt out of it (can't remember the name of the city).

Do you hold the white banks you put your $ into to this standard? Do you scrutinize these other races that follow you around their establishments?

honestly, i didn't really think about it until now because i figured that they were ALL scummy anyway. I would LOVE to make the switch to a black owned business but don't want to get my hopes up only to be done dirty again. This time around i'll actually make a thorough effort about what i'm getting into because i'm skeptical as fukk about everything and how easy this would be to exploit.

I don't see where they say you can use other ATMs for free. Being on the star network just means your card will work with the atm, not that it's free. I don't live near any of their branches.

DC is tricky for me as I dont live there honestly. I heard gentrification is taking place there and a lot of blacks are leaving. BUT I am hearing that those same blacks are instead just moving to the metro(similar with Atlanta) and that the DC metro has a ton of wealthy blacks.

A lot of college educated Blacks move to DC. I been here for 6 years.
