In the African country I live in, it's common knowledge that women step out at least once with #handsomegang to ensure that just in case the husband's kids turn out bad, at least one has a chance of turning out good. Husbands also accept this reality cause when discussions about paternity come up, most brehs here will tell you to do that test if you want to break your family.

I've been told by some friends that I'm the one in my family that looks nothing like the rest. But I turned out pretty awesome, so there's no reason to raise a fuss about it now when my dad is turning 70 in a week.

Yes, but like I mentioned both my parents are dark, and their parents were also dark. I’ve seen complexions vary a lot in families no doubt, but usually the shades tend to vary across the spectrum of whatever the parents shades might be—kids can end up darker than one parent, but lighter than another, or in between, or the exact same shade, etc. Than again this is purely my own personal observation— I generally don’t see two parents that are both dark in complexion with light skin complexions, all that often.

Just make the testing mandatory at birth.

Laws need to be changed so men are no longer required by law to still financially support the child if DNA confirms he's not the biological father.
