This shutdown won't last long, The GOP (shockingly to me) seems like they are taking the biggest hit off this. I was almost for sure the dems would take the political hit, and everything would be blamed on Obama....

but that nikka went 08 obama lately... first time in a while he hasn't been too much of a bytch and the dem party is following suit.

I'm glad the poor wont be affected too much.

In Detroit (and other places) this is just how shyt is done,,,,, call it reparations.

I call it blackking is the only person standing in the whole foods line with like 20 bags of expensive ass food like I'm shopping at aldos or walmart

It's my only source of income but I do have a 4-month emergency fund.

I don't know everyone personally but I can tell some live pay check to pay check. If this lasts for two weeks or more they could be in real financial trouble. As to whether they have a second job or not, well the ones that I do know they don't have one.

Combine this with the furlough we had this summer and this has been a really bad year for DoD employees.
