Politician in Washington flicked a middle finger to the people while they are still getting paid with lifetime pension, premium health insurance, and a hefty salary.

well i guess i'm ok for now. i work for the USPS. This whole debacle is just unnecessary. Not much more than a pissing contest.
That shyt sucks. Hopefully they will get their shyt together soon. I am getting paid on a federal grant but I've been told that they haven't spent the money from last year and my job is good until the end of 2014.

I'm reporting to our home office today. Luckily I was assigned an internal project so I don't have to use my PTO. But this won't last long. Hopefully it's a brief shutdown.
