I have plenty of arguments to defend my lack of faith, but when it comes down to it Im pretty much an atheist because I'm an atheist. Its natural to me. Like even if I was completely scientifically and logically ignorant, I still wouldn't believe in the bible . I identified as Christian in my childhood, but not because of any belief. As a young kid I was extremely terrified of the notion of death without an afterlife. Deep inside I didn't believe there was a heaven but I wanted to believe in it. So i became a devout Christian, not because of Jesus' love or anything, but because I was really scared of the nothingness of death. Up until i was a teenager I read the bible front to back, prayed the rosary, went to church and Sunday school and did all the right stuff, even though in the back of my head, I thought all that spiritual stuff was bullshyt. Eventually I just said just fukk it.

I'm convinced breh, god created the earth in 7 days, created adam and eve, tempted them in a garden with a talking snake and had a son born to a virgin mother named jesus christ who performed miracles (except during that 30 yr period we dont know about), died for our sins and rose from the dead after three days...also the earth is 4,000 yrs old and humans lived amongst the dinosaurs....makes perfect sense, thanks for the enlightenment breh!

Light from the sun is the only source of light that impacts plant life on Earth.

So without the sun, there are no plants. Or cyanobacteria for that matter.
