Blackness is on my mind at all times. How we are perceived is on my mind. Even more important, how we perceive ourselves is on my mind. Everything is psychological. Just as Russell Wilson's win is great for black men striving to be quarterbacks in a sport where black qbs has been rate, it's bad for us to sit by and not notice that the beauty of black women is being white washed in popular culture.
