OSU and ND might as well be guaranteed Ls, bringing us to 3. Then you got Iowa, PSU, and MSU. Maryland could be a threat too.
This team could easily lose 5 games. If that happens the wheels will completely fall off...but remember the Michigan media establishment isn't going to call for Harbaugh to be fired, and they will always sell dreams to these dumb old fans. It's a big business that relies on access. They write articles about the amazing new 5 star recruits that are coming, they write about Harbaugh's adventures overseas, his comments, etc. And every year they convince fans that the team is gonna win big.
If Harbaugh wins 8-9 games next season it'll be a "rebound" to the Michigan media and many fans. They won't run Harbaugh out of town.

I don't care who you are, if you don't beat OSU you can't stay as the HC of Michigan long. He's gotta beat OSU this year or he's in deep trouble. Even Hoke beat Ohio State.

I'll believe it when I see it. This is how Michigan slappies in the local media are talking.
Bloodless, neutral responses. Next step is gonna be "but who can they hire that is better than Harbaugh? Don't you remember how bad things were before he arrived?" Rinse and repeat. He'll be fine this year. I can imagine the seat getting hot next season...but I don't see the school firing him, and I don't see him stepping down in utter failure....so something gotta give right.
They're saying the season isn't over, which is technically true. But at this point I almost expect us to lose to every ranked B10 team...

The players had a players only meeting and they're meeting again when they get home. Honestly, you hate to see it, but if this is what it takes for change.. Im all for it.

I'm curious how alumni respond. Michigan Men are the most likely to just be quiet and let Harbaugh do his thing during the season, but Charles Woodson said some shyt that could galvanize them.
I'm also curious whether these dudes even like Harbaugh. He seems like an utterly joyless human being. Do boosters and alumni enjoy greeting him at dinners or events? Is he a dikk to them? That's the stuff I wonder about too. End of the day they're gonna want to replace him with a Michigan Man...but who? Harbaugh is the perfect Michigan Man. Time to throw that shyt out the window and simply find the best coach you can.
