They knew Ali was going to lose, that's why those boxing judges damn near broke down in tears of relief when Frazier's corner threw in the towel. That Ali aura was unreal.

And Frazier went to the grave hating that trainer too, he never forgave that guy and he basically saved his vision. Joe was willing to go blind to beat Ali that's how bad he wanted it, that's terrifying when you put in it perspective. It was deeper than boxing with Frazier.
