Classic. I remember the promo sticker for this was ALLLLL over NY around the time it dropped. I took one from a light post and had it on my bedroom wall for years.

lol. i used to do that too.

speaking of AZ, theres probably still remnants of the "hey az" promo poster stuck on the light-pole around the corner.

There was a Hey AZ sticker thats been on a light post on linden and rockaway since forever

they mustve used a special sticky glue on that particular poster.

a while back, i think somebody else on here said that poster is still lingering around their neighborhood too.

AZ and miss jones both destroyed that classic sample. just a truly flawless record. not many tracks more perfect than this, if any at all.:ohlawd:

and i wanted to be that card she slid under her thigh so bad.:noah:

I was down till i heard bout her radio personality..that parody she had after that Monsoon was as ugly as Star's shot at Aaliyah the day after she died..:pacspit:

I remember summer 95 over my Uncle's house watching Yo Raps, and this came on:ohlawd:, been a fan since.

Never heard Illmatic in full when it came out in 93/94, so it was my first time hearing AZ, I was blown away.

Recorded the video on VHS too, summer 95 was good:blessed:

This was my other summer 95 jam

I still hope Trigga Treach drops a solo/mixtape with some sick beats to match his spitz...So clap ya hands and hold ya shortee I'm naughty

nas remixed it already.
'
its called "if i ruled the world".

This is like the unofficial "Sugar Hill" remix:

"If I Ruled The World" shares similarities with "Sugar Hill", but they are quite different. "How Ya Livin" has the smooth production with both of them comparing their lives and lives they envision.
