It wasn't a reach by any means comparing Eminem and Chino back then. Rhyme styles weren't very similiar, but the constant name dropping for punchlines of celebrities and other artists was undeniable. The fact that they both were staples in the underground indie 12" scene of that era and monthly mainstays on The Wake Up Show definitely had more than a few people like .

Maaaan, I don't know about that, that's something Em had in his bag/arsenal. But Chino used it as a crutch. Not a diss because I rock with Chino but still.
