I have no idea if they still exist (not literally a dollar show of course). We had a couple here when I was a kid/young adult. One had hit movies that were close to go on video/dvd :flabbynsick: .

Then the other one had movies that were flops. Like those movies that would be in theatre for 1 week. I hated that one.

Did your family used to go the dollar show? What movies do you remember seeing? The last movie I remember seeing was "Hear no Evil" before the theatre clos

It was a dollar theatre that showed old kung fu movies, my pops used to take me and my cousins every other Saturday. :flabbynsick:
When we got home, my cousin and me would be outside kung fu fighting on each other making noise and shyt :slapfight:

There was this old azz lady on the block that came outside and told us to stop 😡😡

I looked at her and said "bytch you dare to challenge my kung fu" like a drunken master or something...

She went and told my moms and we stopped going, cause they thought the movies had me cussin...:mjcry:

I feasted on dollar shows.

I used to go to Universal mall Cinemark.

Play Virtual On in the little shytty arcade across from the movies and then two bucks for a movie a few weeks after they premier :mjcry:.

They tore down the mall and charge 13 fukking dollars at Universal MJR now.:martin:

All the live long day lol

Sometimes I'd go alone sometimes not. Even when it was busy it was never a lot of people in one theater.

I think the last time I ate good at the dollar show was when I went to see Bowfinger like 3 times in one week

Yep Universal was the good one I was referring to. I can't remember the name of the one in Macomb Mall. Might google it. EDIT: Silver Cinemas. It was terrible because they showed the flop movies. They will have some good one once in a while. But overall it was bad to me.

ATL, but rasied in DMV
I did when they first came out, and the movie was out for only two weeks, and it just left the regular theaters. I use to hit the One Dollar Theater in Riverdale, Md every other Thursday night, until it went downhill with those youngins, who needed a good butt kicking. I was actually within walking distance. Anyway, I wouldn't pay regular price anymore one they hit the scene, not even the matinee, unless it was a new version of King Kong, or Godzilla, or something like that. I think the last time I paid anything close to regular price, was Jurassic Park 1.
