Yea hes undefeated battle wise. I think Royce fukked up goin at them and got black balled in the process. That shoulda been him instead of 50 (but im proud of fif for makin it happen though). But he just couldnt stop his own ego. Shoulda just humbled himself and signed to shady/aftermath instead of Tommy Boy. Although he's a vet with classic mixtapes and a few solid albums (mainly Death Is Certain) he will always remain in Em's shadow. He did it to his self though.

Dude mentioned em when beefin, when they weren't speaking, and when they patched it up. While Em rarely mentions him lol. He always say how his pops criticizes him for having Em give him a helping hand. I hope his supposed Premo collab album finally puts him up there where he belongs. Im a big Royce fan by the way.

He would've never been anywhere big as 50, even with the same songs. He doesn't have the story and all the hoop-la surrounding him like 50 did. A majority of 50's rise was based off his image and the whole "He could be shot down and killed at any minute" and that authentic street element that Hip Hop hadn't seen since DMX. He just had a crazy story.

I'm well aware of that. I wasn't comparing the two career/story wise just being signed that's all.

Royce got at d12 hard, but he's lucky eminem didn't intervene cuz he woulda ate his ass up......in the beef dvd segment, d12 talks about em not wanting to respond bc he had so much love for royce and was genuinely hurt that his supposed friend was goin at him after all he did for him ( was instrumental in him getting his deal, featured on his lead single, and gave him a million in cash)....also, d12 came off like they were more official in the street than royce as well, while royce kinda came off like a bytch....if u haven't seen its a good watch

Royce is one of the best pure spitters to ever touch a mic. I actually fukked with "Success is Certain" quite heavily as well. Was expecting him to sign to Shady as a solo artist after that album dropped. Anyone know what he's working on as a solo emcee?

Was nothing to do with Royce' ego, it was Royce' loyalty to Kino that fukked it up and Dre's ego that made the situation arise.

In an early interview Kino said Em would son Dre in the studio telling him how it's wants certain things to sound etc.. Dre took it as disrespect and told Royce to cut Kino off or be cut off himself, Royce chose loyalty over money.

Possible he was blackballed by Dre most likely happened due to him trying to sign for Murder Inc when the beef was at it's height.

Royce spittin though

I'll be on your porch with a cheeseburger tryin to lure you outside :russ:

say g g g g unit i bet you throw some extra gs in it :wow:

I don't even know his name but he can shovel my snow :bryan:

yeah i knew where the beat comes from just the way he crafted the diss + tenacity and cadence, behind those punchlines was crazy. Royce always been a skilled emcee was listening to that song "Legendary" and just the way he pen his bars for that particular song was dope.

Forgot to mention that. But Royce's ego pushed him to do diss records and shyt on shady records. That shyt coulda been squashed if a conversation was had. Ima Royce fan but he's the one that started dissing them first. Dude had diss records in a vault according to D12.
