For today’s throwback I’m going to introduce (most of) y’all to Dutch rapper U-niq. In The Netherlands he’s mostly known for his raps in Dutch now, but he started his career off in English. He worked with Nas for the Hate Me Now (Remix), featured on the Dutch release of Nastradamus for example. His debut album was far from successful though. However, in 2002 he released Wildin’ Out and it became one of his best and biggest records. No matter how often I hear this, the instrumental never gets old. Some might recall that the sample was later used by AOTP on Narrow Grave. You can purchase Wildin’ Out as single here.
