The original beat was much better (Timbo jacked it from Crystal Castles for this)

50 last true hit track was "I get money". It was easily the best track from Curtis album.

This one is alright, it's a track to reach pop audience, them people who were listening to JT, Nelly Furtado and artists like that they liked the song.

But damn, Timbaland was notorious for sampling tracks without giving credit :mjlol:

Like when he did that big pimpin track, them egyptians got mad as hell

Timbo used to jack from a lot of songs, it's a fact. Especially that short era from late 90s to early 00s where a lotta hit tracks would have samples from old arabian songs. Those original song creators would get nothing. While dudes out there making big money from these samples. Big Pimpin was one of those crazy hit tracks, just straight up jackin from old 50s egyptian song :manny:

It's an old tactic, find music that's barely known in US market, and sample the hell outta them

i thnk i'd just grown tired of curtis at this point. his uninspired raps only take away from the song for me. timbo and danja's run was epic. so much great music.

It really was. I mean, all of the songs below came out within the span of a year. All were huge hits:

Promiscuous
Say It Right
SexyBack
My Love
What Goes Around
Give To Me
The Way I Are
Apologize
AYO Technology

I think those artists should've been credited, but at the same time, what he did with those samples was genius. I mean, take "Raise Up" for example, what sounds like a guitar in that beat is actually a portion of this song:

^^^ sample is at 5:26. He looped a few seconds of that song.

Similarly, he took a string from this song and created "We Need A Resolution":
