My old teacher had boiling water spill on her as a child. Her skin was burned so bad that by the time she reached the hospital her clothes had fused with her skin.

I feel like this is fake. Maybe dude did get burned at one point, and they did this to stop people from doing stupid internet challenges.

You see her touching the metal on the handle directly. There's no cover on the handle. Shouldn't she have burned her hand if it were that hot?

Plus, in the first shot you see the water boiling and steam coming out. But when they cut to the girl, it's not boiling and there' no steam. But you can tell that the stove is still on.

The funky editing is also throwing me off. What happened in the moments right after he was burned? If they were doing this to be funny, wouldn't that be where most of the "comedy" came from?

Also, if this were real, shouldn't it be more viral than this? I'm not seeing anything about it online outside of a couple other message boards. This is exactly the kind of thing the media would sensationalize.
