Its crazy how annoying the pitching has been this year. All the random guys put up numbers and then the ppl you expect better from either fell apart or were never right aside from Diaz.

I'm gonna need to see what they can get for Nimmo, McNeil and Vientos in the off season.
New hitting coach, maybe some new infield coaches and prep guys. The first base coach can stay. As much as i understand wanting someone to fall on the sword for the pitching woes, Hefner really cooked last season and got a lot from guys in the first half of this season.
As underrated and underappreciated McNeil is, moving on from him would change the feel. The versatility is cool but with this roster, it's hardly utilized. Marte gone, I'm ready to move on from Vientos and Acuña/Mauricio, preferably Acuña cuz I think Jett offers more overall than he does. I still like Nimmo and think McNeil is more attractive to a team contract and roster wise. Too many peaks and valleys but he still put up 25 hrs and drove in 92. He has his own issues but thats where a new hitting coach comes in.
Some stability in the pen would be nice too. No more Stanek, Garrett and Megill basically done for next season but I was ready to not see them next year anyway, Raley under contract for next season and I need them to resign Rogers and of course Diaz. Everybody else replaceable.
0-69 trailing after 8 innings is insane still. I dont know what about this is luck or grit but that can't be normal.

Last I saw we don't even know who is going to start Sunday. Maybe offer Glavine a ten day contract so he can wet the bed for Miami like he did almost ten years ago.

Stearns is the reason this team faltered. He went for the cheap this past winter for SP and CF(Montas; Siri) respectively. FF to the trade deadline, the team clearly has holes in the pen; SP, and lacks a few bats.
While the Rodgers and Helsey moves were great at the time; he gets a mid Mullins when Bader was raking in Minny, and relies on Senga/Manea to come back and save the rotation. I wasn't opposed to relying on Senga/Manea, but that didn't work, just like his trade deadline moves.
The Juan Soto move clearly was Cohen, Steve needs to tell Stearns that's he's no longer in Milwaukee, stop trying to get guys off the scrap heap and acquire legit talent.

Hopefully, the kind of start that makes people realize Stearns hit on Holmes as a starter, especially for the money he got.
