Please stay healthy.

Swing for the fences with 2 weeks left till the deadline. Get Chapman (or bednar), Durran and see if deGrom waives the no trade. All 3 makes us favorites. Vientos would love hitting liners off the monster.

I also have no problem emptying the farm for Sandy and then moving Holmes to the pen.

Oh and at this point, call up Gilbert already. Even if he struggles, he probably beats Taylor's 68 OPS+ and won't hurt the defense. If they get a Durran or Roberts they can always keep him and move Taylor

Yeah, I want Duran to but they just won 10 in a row. I doubt they are selling. Do not want Sandy until he's good again. If I'm giving up anything valuable I need a more sure thing. Rest I would be fine with.

Who do you want traded the most out of these 4:
1. Baty
2. Acuna
3. Vientos
4. Mauricio

I think out of the 4 Baty is the most expendable and can actually be part of a package that brings something back. Acuna I don't think he brings much value in a trade. Vientos I want to keep in case he is just a guy who turns up in playoffs again. And Mauricio got the highest ceiling out of everyone. Like him the best.

Usually takes 2 years to get right from surgery. He's halfway through one so I'm not too worried.

The thought of Holmes, Chapman and Diaz as murderers row ending games would be something special

Baty, he’s a good fielder, but his bat is streaky and he’s like 25. Honestly fukk Duran, I’d go after Oneil Cruz. Sure Cruz strikes out a lot; but he’s young, under team control for the next 2+ years, steals bases, and has pop.

Since the Captain is making me feel old today. I hope they put all the Pre-Game stuff on YouTube cause I'm at work.

In x number of years, I wonder who's going hitless when they retire #12? Hopefully they win that one

Teams just not very exciting right now. I'm seeing some bad habits too.

Y'all can call me a hater all y'all want.. but lets keep it a buck. Soto just don't vibe with this crew. This culture was built the past couple of years. They played hard, and gave it a hunnit every play. Dude dont run out ground balls. Plays lackadaisical as fukk. Argues damn near every close pitch.

I go t a feeling shyts gonna hit the fan at some point. Maybe not this season.. but if I were a betting man, Soto doesn't finish his career as a Met.

He misses us :troll:

but I could see how Lindor is Captain, Pete's the homegrown guy, and Soto comes in like a true mercenary on a deal that's more than anything Lindor and Pete can put together and how that can make things kinda awkward. FWIW, Soto hung out with the young guys on the Yankees. That team was/and is kliqed up just like the Mets appear to be.

I can't wait til moves are finally made cuz some people will be traded but also there'd be no excuse to some of these prospects (mainly the pitchers). Gotta remix this roster.
