I just cant get a feel for Mendy's train of thought. We start a 3 game set tomorrow.. and he takes Rogers out after a 7 pitch 1-2-3 inning in the 6th. Then takes Railey out after a 11 pitch 1-2-3 in the 7th.
He's about to pitch Soto for a second day in a row, when there's no need. Dude is just blowing thru bullpen arms at this point.

Mendy makes some puzzling decisions with the bullpen at least twice a week. If trying to rationalize it, he probably plans on using them heavy over the weekend? No clue with him sometimes.
On another note, Polar Bear is on another one of his heaters. Let’s hope he can keep this going for another week or so at least!

I was reading a blog earlier today that said that it’s possible we’ll have 5(!) rotation guys from this year unavailable next season. If so, that’s a whole lot of investment for doing nothing. Wonder how Cohen is gonna deal with that scenario.
