He would've been a mid-card guy at best, and he would have had to play heel the entire time because there is absolutely NO WAY he was going to get cheered with that goofy rap routine when you compare it to the legendary stuff Rock and Austin were doing at the time.

The same Attitude Era where guys like Rikishi, Billy Gunn, Big Bossman, Shane McMahon, and Test were given main event level pushes?

Sure why not. Everyone woulda been fair game except Austin, Rock, Taker, and maybe Foley.

I'll give you Rikishi but...

Billy Gunn wasn't given a legit main event push :what: That one off with The Rock for a month was on some experimental shyt and he was quickly put back down on the mid-card where he belonged. Same goes for Test. even though for a while he was associated with Stephanie, he was still having meaningless tag matches every week and was immediately thrown back down on the card after the wedding angle.

Bossman wasn't given a main event push either, that program with Big Show that resulted in a WWF title match at Armageddon 99' was sideshow entertainment, either Rock N' sock, or Triple H/Mcmahon feud was closing out every Raw & Smackdown. Big Show's first WWF title reign was ALWAYS secondary in storylines.

Shane was always a voice of power, and he was the mouthpiece for the Corporate Ministry which was a main event stable so of course he was in main event storylines, but he wasn't having matches every week and getting WWF title shots:stopitslime:

I had to go see what Showtime was :snoop:'in.. oh my.. such disrespect to the GOAT :smh:
honestly Cena with no filter, just trying to clown someone, would probably get the best of Austin on the mic.
