Think about it, Rose messes his knees up and takes his time while talking about all these things that he has to do before being comfortable on the court again (having to dunk off a certain foot, etc.) and when he does come back he doesn't look like the same player. Westbrook on the other hand has the same thing happen to him but he comes back as soon as he's able to and is even more explosive than before.

They're the same age and from the same draft, and the first few years in the league they were compared because they were similar in style. However, it's Westbrook's mentality that separates him from Rose, and it's why he's looked at more favorably by fans and other players. Kind of ironic that it was the complete opposite four years ago.

Contemplated buying tickets for this game last week, but after that Charlotte game, I fell back. Think I'm a go to this Kendrick concert instead. I hate paying 300+ on tickets for a Bulls game when Rose is always a question mark. And not even just health wise, but his style of play so far been looking like he's lost.

Hopefully he shows some pride with this matchup and isn't content with scoring 5 points and playing with good pace like the first 5 games of the season.
