It wasnt pretty but its not always pretty and they are young as fukk. They were learning how to win in the playoffs while winning in the playoffs. They have two major advantages over most other teams in their position: growth and options.

Usually chip teams are full of guys at their peak or on the back end of their peak meaning they wont be any better than there are right now. They got a team full of guys that will be better going forward and they got chip confidence on top of that.

Chip teams are usually stuck in terms of personnel and/or finances. They are the rare chip team that has young talent coming in. They can either keep bringing young dudes in or flip picks, prospects, players for a big fish. And we in the era of the 2nd apron so teams cant just out money them or throw together a bunch of stars.

Damn, that is such a young age, hope he gets through it and can play again
apparently it's one of the most treatable forms of cancer. He should be fine, hopefully

But he's had absolutely HORRENDOUS luck. He tore his ACL, which is why he missed all of last season, and like 2 weeks ago they said he was dealing with a "testicular issue" and would miss more time. Turns out it was cancer :francis:

He was drafted in 2024 and hasn't played a single NBA minute
