not at a max deal for a lot of years... and no you do not need him. boston and philly didnt get where they are now by spending a bunch of money as soon as they got it. PG isnt the guy to make the lakers a contender, unless you are happy being a treadmill team.

Lakers haven't made the playoffs in 5 years, you know how much that hurts..especially being a fan of a team that has been mostly successful? Other fanbases might be okay with this since they are used to this pain, I will take treadmill over the trash right now

Thunder gone find themselves out of the playoffs if they think they gone win games based off talent. you have to WORK. Utah was outworking them brehs something fierce and they play together.

And the Thunder rotations are the worst in the league. Donovan has NO IDEA how to manage this team.

Adams getting in foul trouble early again killed them, ain't got a chance if he keeps getting the business from the refs like these last 2 games. They pretty much have to play perfect without him out there to help clean up mistakes like these last 2 games, & so far both games after he's had to sit the Jazz have went on big runs.

Russy hasn't been aggressive all series & was just straight up terrible tonight. Team as a whole going to have to just say fukk it & attack Gobert & hope to get some calls on him next game instead of everybody just deciding to avoid going near the paint

Honestly when the Jazz were making that run in the 2nd quarter Donovan should have put Adams back out there even with the 3 fouls. They had a 14 point lead with like 7 minutes to go in the 1st half and ended up being down by 5 at halftime. They couldn't score, couldn't get a defensive rebound. That 7 minute stretch changed the game.

There's no point in fouling your own guy out. Basketball is such a weird game in that every impacts the next one.......Who knows what happens if OKC leads going into the halftime.

JVG brought this up the other night. Where did the idea come from that you HAVE to sit a guy after two fouls?

I'm not sure there's a coach that can manage this.

There's definitely competent coaches that can put better lineups out there. like breh above mentioned, that stretch before the half with Adams out changed the entire game and they never recovered. You gotta be able to read the pulse of your team.

Also, they never feed the hot hand. Melo was 6/8 fgs at one point and had it going but then they just stopped going to him altogether. Melo is a player that feeds off of rhythm.
