I don’t see the Pelicans giving up on Murphy especially because they have a young point guard they love in Fears.
Dumars seems adamant on that Queen, Fears and Murphy trio.

The power of friendship is the only thing stopping the Thunder from that.. which could be a double edged sword. As constructed, they’re very much the ‘16 GSW in that they have a higher floor compared to the field… but come playoffs certain teams can raise their ceiling to comparable levels.
i.e. Defensive effort can be toggled on for the playoffs and corner 3 shot making can fluctuate no matter if you’re Jabari, Vassel, Dort, Cam Johnson, or IND’s role players last year.
So if you have a chance to upgrade for a taller, more dynamic guy that ticks those same 3&D boxes, without giving up you’re core 4-5 guys, it’d be a no brainer. However they likely wouldn’t touch that close knit group
