About to drive home so not going to pull each quote of where you did the EXACT SAME THING to other folks and when they give context, you gloss over it or ignore it cuz it doesn't fit your talking point.Well, first of all, I do find it hilarious how you stated - "when actually the context of what they are saying either does apply and YOU don't understand the context.", when you commit this very thing by referencing posts of mine which you do NOT understand the context of.
You took two-to-three different conversations centered around different points of argument and drew some bullshyt conclusion as weight for this supposed "pseudo-intellectual" character breakdown of mine.
As it was said above, this team is on track (well, they're attempted to anyway) to go to their 4th Finals in a row, there isn't going to be that same energy/desire to win regular season games, as there was in 2014/15 and 2015/16. Not only because they're aware that pacing themselves gives them a better chance at operating on a full tank in the postseason, but because teams who've experienced similar success to this Warriors squad (more regular season wins over a 3-4 year stretch in NBA history) simply can't keep winning/playing with high effort to the same degree that they did in the past.
The 00s Lakers went through the same thing, the 90s Bulls went through the same thing, the 80s Lakers went through the same thing, the 80s/90s Pistons went through the same thing. All of these teams who had 2-3+ years of success weren't as hungry and merciless as they were when they were proving themselves.
You can NOT compare this Warriors team to any of team in the league, because of that very fact.
Furthermore, I brought up that 73-win season as a contention point to Houston911's about Kerr not really coaching, and only pretending to, when he calls Draymond nothing but a role player and the most overrated player in the league, despite him being in a system which allowed him to be the second-most impactful player on a 73-win team. Now if he's a role player, and the most overrated player as Houston911 said he is, then how the hell did the Warriors have the success they did with him being one of the main pieces for all these years? Houston911's already admitted that Draymond wouldn't be shyt on another team, so he's already indirectly admitted multiple times that Kerr is indeed actually not pretending to coach, because his coaching and the system he instilled put this "role player" in a position where he could have this impact; impact that he wouldn't have on any other team - in his eyes.
By all means, you can criticize the way they're playing (they certainly deserved it after last night), because no team is above criticism, but don't read too much into it their regular season performance, which is the mistake A LOT of folks are doing in here. This team is thinking about the bigger picture here, for better or for worse.
Steph and Draymond have already said multiple times over the past month that they're preparing well, and they're talking about building good habits on defense, but they need to do a better job of actually putting it into action, on the floor. This team has a defensive structure/system, they've been arguably the best defensive team over the last three years, as a coach when the players have this proven structure and have proven themselves in that manner, there's only so much a coach can do to get them to be consistent on that end. Is Kerr blameless in all this? Of course not. But everything is there in place for these players to play consistent defense, they've proven so time and time again.
It would be different if they've never had a great defensive scheme or any notable defensive success, then of course, Kerr (and Adams) should be crucified for it. But everything is in place for this Warriors squad to play consistently great defense (we've seen it for THREE seasons straight now), they've got all the measures and tools to do so, it's only up to them to execute it.
Blame Draymond. Blame Steph. Blame Durant. Blame ZaZa. Blame Iggy. Blame McCaw. Blame every single player, before you start blaming the coach.

The highlighted about defense is not going to fly on the basis that a teams last year's defense doesn't necessarily roll over if other teams make match ups to counter-act your existing scheme. You putting no basis on the defense effort of the team on Kerr is just

But like I knew was going to happen, you we're going to make excuses even when you told me to quote you.
No need for me to try and change your mind as you already have it set even if you get called out on BS.
